North Myrtle Sports Complex Photos Released!

We’re super excited about the new park & sports complex coming to North Myrtle Beach. Not only would it be good for tourism, but it’ll give us locals things to do as well!

The City of North Myrtle Beach recently released photos of the construction of the new park, which is slated to open in less than a month! (March 1 to be exact)

 

Sports Complex - Playground Area
The main playground and picnic shelter area, plus restrooms, is very close to completion.

Sunshades throughout the Complex
Looking out from under a large sunshade toward a playground and a picnic shelter in the Soccer/Lacrosse/Football section of the Sports Complex. Sunshades are employed throughout the facility and are built to withstand very strong winds.
Picnic Area
Even the smaller picnic shelters are equipped to handle a crowd.
Park Area
Part of the amenities area for the Soccer/Lacrosse/Football fields section of the Sports Complex.
Lights Up
Grass on the Soccer/Lacrosse/Football fields is maturing well, and the lights are up and working.

The color scheme for amenities in the Soccer/Lacrosse/Football fields section of the Sports Complex employs blue hues. These touches of color throughout the Park & Sports Complex add a sense of excitement to the entire facility.
Ampitheater
The amphitheater continues to emerge. It is located to one side of The Meadow.
Sports Complex Main Entrance
The building at the main entrance to the facility overlooks The Meadow and serves as the welcome center and houses administrative offices.
